What are requirements to be a homecare aide?

Mason County Health Department requires homecare aides to be finger printed and put into the Illinois Department of Public Health Healthcare Worker Registry, to receive 24 hours of pre-service training, and to attend quarterly in-service trainings in addition to other policy requirements.
