Food Handler Certification Class
Description: This course meets the Illinois requirements for all food employees to have food safety training. The training goes over ways people make food unsafe and job specific guidelines. The course consists of a food safety presentation, quiz, and a job specific task (making a sanitizer bucket using bleach). Upon passing the quiz, students are presented with their Food Handler Certificate. The certification is valid for 3 years.

Registration: To register for the Food Handler Certification class, please fill out our registration form. Return the completed form and fee to our office at least 2 business days before the class date.

Note: The Food Handler Certification is a requirement for ALL food employees. This course is NOT the Food Safety Sanitation Manager Certification (FSSMC). For information on how to get your FSSMC certification, please contact our office.
